Growing area: west-facing, well-ventilated, lean hilltops in Girlan at 470- 500 m.a.s.l.
Soil: mineral-rich, glacial moraine gravel (porphyry, granite, gneiss)
Training system: Guyot with 6000-7000 vines/hectare
Yield: 25-30 hl/ha
Vinification: maceration in open oak vats for about two weeks at a constant temperature of 28 ° C, malolactic fermentation and aging on the fine lees in barrique for 12-14 months, followed by one year of aging in concrete barrels. Bottle aging for at least one year.
